We love making food. We love making people happy. We love what we do. And we’re thrilled to be doing it in Campbellford! Many years ago, we successfully ran our own restaurant in Pickering, Ontario. From there, we opened a corporate catering business in Toronto, which we ran for over fifteen years — until late 2019.

Ready for change, we began exploring the beautiful towns and villages east of Toronto. We soon discovered Campbellford then immediately fell in love with the town and the wonderful people in it!

Having considered several locations, the former Baptist Church at 67 Queen Street became available. It was perfect! A unique building with history right on the Trent Severn Waterway. We had found our ‘forever’ restaurant!

Giving Back

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. The world stopped in March of 2020 as we all went into quarantine due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We knew The Dockside Bistro would not be opening anytime soon. We were still running our catering business in Toronto which also came to an abrupt halt.

Suddenly we had a lot of time and food on our hands. It made sense to cook for the community, thus began our weekly Free Meals for Those in Need Initiative. Each week we cooked 150 plus entrees which were then delivered by local volunteers.  With the help of donations and many helping hands were were able to continue the initiative for several months. We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!
